Fly Control

A recent addition to the fly control process for cattle has been the hanging bags with fly bate inside and coned entry that traps the flies within the bag after they are drawn inside. While this is primarily thought of for use inside a barn or stall it has proven to be an exceptional product for use during the hot dry summer months. Also, it is very portable if you want to move it from one cell to the next in a rotational grazing system like our own. The most effective $10 dollars I have ever spent in an effort to reduce the fly load on my cow herd.
